datasets

there are many more open data portals/options available for this event; be helpful if there was a document we could edit/add to.

    Yes, I've seen the doc; just wanted to share more info for the attendees to make the most of this opportunity.
    Just a few off the top of my head: Open Virginia portal, Open Hampton Roads portal, dc.gov's datasets/portals, Code for DC's portal.
    The DC sites mostly have data unrelated, but there are metro datasets which includes NOVA, particularly the transportation datasets.
    I'll come back with more and meta if you'd like to add them.

    Yes, we welcome additions to the doc! Please sent them over and we will have it added so that everyone is aware of these portals and data sets.
